London Day 2So I'm currently sitting in a Mcdonalds (due to their free wifi) uploading photos and writing this post. I haven't bought a UK to US plug adapter yet though so my battery is running out. I guess that means I should stop rambling and start talking! So the hostel was nice last night. Ya sleeping in a room with 6 or 7 other complete strangers was kind of odd especially since I didn't get in till 10pm or so an thus most of them were already trying to sleep and I had a top bunk. Nonetheless I actually slept fantastically from 10:30-6:30am. I don't know what it is with the early morning stuff but I like it. Once up I got the breakfast at the hostel which was all you can eat for 5 pounds... not bad but nothing fantastic.. cereal, yogurt, some really good chocolate croissant thingys, orange juice, apple juice and tea. Then I checked out and I've been walking since. I'm currently sitting at a Mcdonalds on Buckingham Palace Road so my next stop will happen to be Buckingham palace. Then I think I might try and hop the Underground to meet at Wellington Arch for a free walking tour of London! That's at 11 though so I should get going. London is pretty crazy, tons of people, lots of bikers, accents, double decker buses, oh and I still can't get used to seeing cars driving on the opposite side of the road... weird. I could get used to all the nice cars though... I think so far I've seen 4 Ferraris, one Lamborghini, 2 Aston Martins and some other fancy ones. My biggest regret so far in all of this is that I don't have someone to share it with. Hopefully I'll meet some people at the next hostel or so if I get in a little earlier. Anyway, till later. See ya!

Yowza! When your grandma
Yowza! When your grandma told me you were heading to Europe, never having been out of the country, and doing it alone....I was impressed. What an adventure. And yeah, it's great to do things with people, but I'm guessing God using this time of "travelling alone". Keep those entries comin'. Hope you have some great stories, and meet some wonderful people.
Solo Trip
You're not alone, you have all of us going with you.
Enjoy your adventure and glad we can travel with you. Please pickup the adapter so you can continue to share.

How Exciting
Spencer, I have loved following your travel blog. I am so jealous and wish I could be there in London with you. We loved London. What a great city. Be sure to go to an Evensong service at Westminster Abbey (you don't have to pay for a tour if you are going to a service), and give yourself a whole day to check out the British Museum (also free). If you also get a chance, take the train to Windsor to see Windsor Castle. Where else can you get a hamburger at Burger King across the street from where the Queen spends her holidays!
Looking forward to hearing more from you.
